FIG 5.0 · SERVICES · FOUR TRACKS · ONE DESTINATION

The AI decision that has to hold up under your board, your auditors, and your regulators — that is the call we take.

Five engagement layers. Every path leads toward autonomous execution the client can trust, govern, and own.

FIG 5.1 · FRAMING

Seniority is the product.

Every engagement — from a board-level governance session to a full production agent fleet — is led or backed by a senior core who has carried the buyer’s own accountability. The portfolio is an ecosystem: each engagement creates the case for the next, and every path leads toward the same destination — autonomous execution the client can trust, audit, and own.

FIG 5.2 · WHERE DOES IT SIT?

Tell us the symptoms. We’ll show you the path.

Pick the statements that sound like your organisation. The panel on the right assembles a recommended path through the four tracks — in seniority order. No pricing fiction. No funnel.

TRACK 01 · BOARD & GOVERNANCE · FIG 5.3

The premium end. Led by the senior core, in person.

Scope is confirmed on enquiry. If this is where you need to begin, the conversation starts with a direct approach — not a form.

01 · Entry

Board Briefing

Engagement on request

The entry conversation at board altitude. Covers the macro shift in enterprise software, the regulatory environment for the client’s jurisdictions, the governance reframe — Policy-in-the-Loop, the Proxy Principle, and the Decision Record — and a candid read of the organisation’s current AI exposure. Delivered to the board, the executive committee, or both. 90 minutes to a half-day.

Deliverable Board-grade written summary and a documented gap between what the board believes is in place and what is actually in place.
For Boards and executive committees that have not yet had a structured AI conversation at the governance level.
If this leads into a Governance Posture Assessment within 30 days, the commercial path is aligned there.
02 · Assess

Governance Posture Assessment

Engagement on request · 2–4 weeks

A two-to-four-week fixed engagement. A full inventory of AI use across the group and subsidiaries; risk tier per use case mapped to the EU AI Act, CCPA/CPRA ADMT (effective January 2027), and Colorado SB 26-189 (effective January 2027); gap analysis against ISO/IEC 42001; and a recommended boundary of permitted autonomous action for each high-risk use case identified.

Deliverable Board-grade report, presentation to the executive sponsor, and a prioritised remediation list.
For Organisations where the board is engaged but there is no consolidated view of where AI is in use across the group.
03 · Implement

Framework Build

Engagement on request · 3–6 months

A three-to-six-month fixed-scope engagement. The AI policy document, supporting SOPs, board reporting cadence, ISO/IEC 42001 readiness work, and the Decision Record template that all autonomous deployments will produce. Governance becomes operational and enforced here — not documented and filed.

Deliverable A working governance framework the organisation owns and operates.
For Organisations with a documented governance gap that need the framework drafted and implemented.
04 · Hold

Fractional Chief AI Officer

Engagement on request · 12-month minimum

A 12-month minimum retainer at executive rate. Four to six days of senior architect time each month. Board observer rights. Monthly executive committee attendance. Quarterly board reporting. Ongoing oversight of the boundary of permitted autonomous action as it evolves. Co-sign authority on high-risk autonomous deployments.

Independence Operates under disclosed independence: the Fractional CAIO is accountable to the client’s board — not to Digital Army. The client may end the engagement at any time. Professional indemnity insurance scaled to the volume of decisions governed.
For Organisations operating autonomous systems that require board-level AI governance held by someone who has carried it before.
TRACK 02 · ADVISORY & BUILD · FIG 5.4

Where strategy becomes architecture, and architecture becomes production.

The AI Foundations Programme moves an executive team from “should we” to “what, and in what sequence.” The Agentic AI Build delivers the system. Commercial scope is confirmed on enquiry.

A · AI FOUNDATIONS PROGRAMME · THREE TIERS
Tier 1 · Foundations Experience
Foundations Experience
Enquire for scopeFacilitated session · up to 12 attendees

A facilitated session building executive AI literacy and a shared view of where the opportunity sits. Uses the Value-Ease framework to score candidate initiatives.

Deliverable Workshop Pack — prioritised pilot list and shared internal language.
If this leads into Tier 2/3 or a signed build within 30 days, the commercial path is aligned there.

For executive teams seeking a structured introduction to AI opportunity identification before committing to implementation.

Tier 2 · Agent Blueprint
Agent Blueprint
Enquire for scopeIncludes everything in Tier 1

Everything in Tier 1, plus a designed blueprint for a first agent scoped against real workflows. Technical assessment covering integration and data readiness.

Deliverable All Tier 1 outputs plus an Agent Blueprint and technical readiness assessment — the internal sign-off artefact.
If this leads into a signed build within 30 days, the commercial path is aligned there.

For organisations preparing a first implementation initiative that need decision-ready documentation.

Tier 3 · Roadmap Advisory
AI Roadmap Advisory
Enquire for scope12–18 month horizon

A prioritised roadmap of agentic initiatives scored on the Value-Ease framework, with a sequencing recommendation against data readiness and dependencies.

Deliverable Enterprise AI roadmap across 12–18 months, prioritised implementation portfolio, detailed business case for a selected priority initiative.
If this leads into a signed build, the commercial path is aligned there.

For organisations making portfolio-level AI investment decisions across multiple stakeholders.

B · AGENTIC AI BUILD · FOUR PHASES
Phase 01 · Discovery

Discovery & Scoping

Enquire for scope

Defines the workflow, the data, the boundary of permitted autonomous action, and the commercial case. The metric the system will be held to is agreed here.

Phase 02 · MVP

MVP Build

Enquire for scope

A working system in the client’s environment on real data. A vertical slice of production architecture built to scale. Always an MVP — the deliverable is a measured outcome, not a demonstration. Gate review before Phase 3.

Phase 03 · Production

Production Build

Enquire for scope

The system hardened, integrated, and extended into production. Includes the monitoring layer that produces the Decision Record for every autonomous decision made.

Phase 04 · Annuity

Annuity & Decision Record

Enquire for scope

The Decision Record is a client-owned asset — the auditable log of how every autonomous decision was made. The client controls it, can export it, and can take it in-house at any time in an open format.

Note The SOW deliverable is always an MVP. The terms “proof of concept” and “proof of value” are not used here — they carry the wrong promise.
TRACK 03 · CAPACITY & MANAGEMENT · FIG 5.5
